Find My Device lets you use another Android device to:
Locate a lost or stolen Android device on a map
Remotely change the device’s lock code to prevent a thief from using it or accessing the information stored on it
Remotely erase all the user data stored in the device’s memory
There are two prerequisites for using the app to locate and control a missing device:
The missing device must be associated with a Google account that you control.
It must also be powered up and connected to the Internet via either a cellular data connection or a Wi-Fi network.
