How to Force a Windows Desktop Shortcut to Always ‘run as Administrator’

It’s easy to make a simple tweak to your shortcuts that will force them to always “Run as administrator” by default. Just follow the steps below:
1 – Right-click on the shortcut, then select Properties from the drop-down menu.
2 – Click the Advanced button.
3 – Check the box beside Run as administrator.
4 – Click OK, then click OK again.
